Please note that it is your responsibility to be aware of and familiar with the course in preparation for event day.

NOTE ABOUT VIRGIN COURSE: The Virgin Course is designed for our first-time triathletes. If you are an intermediate or advanced athlete, we ask that you register for the Sprint or Olympic Course (to give these athletes a fair and pleasant first-time experience).

Registration (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

All registrations come with a shirt; however, registering after 6/1/26 will NOT guarantee a specific shirt size on event day, and shirts may have to be mailed after. All participants will receive medals. The top 2 overall finishers AND top 2 in each age group (no double dipping - meaning, if you win overall, you don't win age group) will receive awards. 2- and 3-person relay options, as well as Aqua Bike options, are available for the Sprint & Olympic Courses.

We are offering discounts to students and military (25% off). Please feel free to use the following discount codes upon registration checkout if you fall into one of these 2 categories (please bring proof of student/military status with you on race day for check-in):

  • Student Discount Code | STUDENT25

  • Military Discount Code | MILITARY25

NOTE ABOUT AGE LIMIT: This event is 16+. We will consider and allow younger athletes if they are accompanied by an adult on the bike (as the bike portion is on open roads) and the parent/guardian signs the waiver during registration. Please send us an email if you're planning on signing up someone younger than 16, as safety is our number one priority.

Packet pick-up is available on Thursday, June 11 from 5pm - 7pm and Friday, June 12th from 12pm - 4pm (at The Athlete Lab) or, on race day from 6:30am - 7:00am at the event location.

Parking

✔️ NO on-site parking at Turtle Lake Park.

✔️ All athletes and spectators must park at Chippewa Middle School across Hodgson Rd—no permit required.

✔️ Use extreme caution when crossing Hodgson Rd. Cross only at marked crosswalks for your safety.

Safety

Although we will have volunteers and all corners will be marked, it is the athlete’s responsibility to know the course. All roads are OPEN ROADS—which means vehicle traffic will be sharing these roads with us.  As an event participant, it is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings/traffic at all times. For visibility purposes, we highly recommend a flashing red light on the back of your bike. The more visible you are, the better!

Inclement Weather & Emergency Plan – Women’s Trifecta 2026

The Women’s Trifecta Triathlon is a rain or shine event, and we will make every effort to hold the race as planned. However, athlete safety is our top priority. In coordination with local safety officials and in alignment with USA Triathlon guidelines, we reserve the right to delay, adjust, or cancel the event due to dangerous conditions such as lightning, severe storms, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If weather requires adjustments:

  • Start times may be delayed or races may be shortened.

  • The swim may be canceled and the event changed to a duathlon.

  • The course or distances may be modified to keep participants close to shelter if needed.

In the event of lightning, races will be delayed for at least 30 minutes after the last visible strike in the area. Athletes will not be permitted to remain on the course if lightning is present.

All roads remain open to vehicle traffic, so please stay alert and exercise caution at all times. A flashing red bike light is strongly encouraged for visibility.

Please note: No refunds can be issued for cancellations, delays, or changes due to weather or emergency circumstances, as all fees are used to prepare and produce the event.

For serious emergencies, dial 911 immediately. Lifeguards, safety personnel, and volunteers will be on site to assist, and local authorities will be available as needed.

In case of an active emergency or security threat, follow guidance to Run, Hide, or Fight as recommended by the Department of Homeland Security. Our team will communicate any urgent updates via PA system and official announcements at the race site.

For full details on emergency and contingency planning, please visit [USA Triathlon Guidelines].
