About the Event
🚴♂️ Burn It Before You Earn It – Thanksgiving Morning!
Before you dive into turkey, pie, and all the holiday trimmings, join us for Rocket Racing’s Fat & Happy Ride — the most fun you can have on two wheels before noon!
Choose your challenge: COURSE MAP
Short Course: One loop of crisp morning air and gravel goodness
Long Course: Double the fun, double the bragging rights
Fat tire, gravel, mountain, or hybrid — all bikes are welcome! We’ve got separate awards for bike types, plus prizes for the fastest male and fastest female.
When you cross that finish line, you’ll be greeted with

🍫 Our famous homemade brownies
🎁 Door prizes galore
It’s a safe, well-marked, open-road course with plenty of Rocket Racing spirit — the perfect way to kick off your holiday, feel amazing, and maybe justify that extra slice of pie later.

Safety
Although we will have volunteers and all corners will be marked, it is the athlete’s responsibility to know the course. All roads are OPEN ROADS—which means vehicle traffic (including farm equipment) will be sharing these roads with us. In case of snowfall on event day*, maintenance vehicles (snow plows) will have the right of way to clear the roads for vehicle traffic. As an event participant, it is your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings/traffic at all times. For visibility purposes, we highly recommend a flashing red light on the back of your bike. The more visible you are, the better!
*we may want to consider “weather delay” in these situations
